Stripes® Convenience Stores Sells $36 Million Winning Texas Lottery Ticket
Texas Lottery Commission Presents $365,312.72 Check to Stripes Store in Cuero, Texas
(Corpus Christi, TX) July 18, 2014 –Stripes® Convenience Stores recently sold a winning Texas Lottery ticket worth an estimated $36.25 million at Stripes Store #9416 located on 111 E. Morgan in Cuero,Texas. According to the Texas Lottery Commission, the big winner has yet to claim their prize. However, Stripes received its portion of the lucky ticket through the retailer bonus pay-out.
“Congratulations to Stripes for selling another big winning ticket,” stated Robert Tirloni, Products and Drawing Manger for the Texas Lottery Commission. “We are thrilled to present Stripes with their retailer bonus check.”
The Texas Lottery Commission presented Stripes Convenience Stores with a check for $365,312.76 earlier today (July, 18, 2014).
“We are excited to learn that another Stripes customer is a lucky winner from playing The Texas Lottery. We love our customers, and knowing that one of them is becoming a millionaire is fantastic news,” stated Eduardo Pereda, Vice President of Marketing for Stripes LLC. “The Texas Lottery Commission has generated billions of dollars for our Texas public schools and veterans throughout the state – they are a great partner.”
The Texas Lottery Commission also hosted Lone Star Spin prior to the check presentation, which began at 11:30 a.m. and ended at 1:30 p.m. Stripes customers enjoyed a chance to win free prizes from Stripes and The Texas Lottery.
