(Dallas, TX) Tuesday, November 8, 2016 - Stripes® Convenience Stores announce the opening of its newest and first Stripes Convenience Store in Elgin, Texas. Stripes Stores will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony with the Elgin Chamber of Commerce beginning at 11 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 at 201 W Hwy 290 in Elgin, Texas. The ribbon cutting will include a $1,000 donation check presentation to Elgin Middle School as part of the grand opening celebration. The new Stripes Store has added more than 50 new jobs to the Elgin community.
The entire community is invited to the grand opening celebration to sample delicious and fresh foods from Laredo Taco Company®. Laredo Taco Company will offer FREE lunch to its guests for one hour following the ribbon cutting at 11 a.m., and the first 200 guests at the grand opening celebration will receive a FREE Stripes refillable mug with purchase while supplies last.
The new Stripes Store features Laredo Taco Company, Sunoco Fuel®- the official Fuel of NASCAR® and features 20 Sunoco Branded Fuel dispenser options which include unleaded, super unleaded and diesel. This location features a dining area which seats 28 inside and an outdoor patio with seating for 20 guests, “the beer super cooler” – a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 Degrees Fahrenheit, the “pour your own” – a creative space for customers to customize their cool with more than 1.2 billion possible fountain combinations, as well as almost 7,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.
