Learn more about the extras that come standard with a full time job with us. All full-time Stripes® Convenience Stores team members will be eligible for most benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days of active employment. Part-time team members enjoy many benefits as well, on the first day of the month following 60 days of active employment. Other employment positions offer most benefits in typically 30 days. Stripes® Convenience Stores and affiliated companies may elect to add or change benefit programs from time to time.

Prescription Card Service – Co-pay plan with flexibility; purchase prescriptions locally or through mail order services.

Other Benefits

We provide key long term financial benefits.

Sick Leave – Full-time team members that have completed six months of service are eligible to use three days of accrued sick leave. After one year of service and each new employment year thereafter, you will receive six days of sick leave. Sick leave accrues at one-half day for every month worked.

Vacation – Full-time team members: 1 week after 1 year of service; 2 weeks after 2 years; and 3 weeks after 5 years of service. Regular part-time team members accrue vacation time on a percentage of average hours worked per week from the previous year.

Paid Holidays – Hourly team members working on store holidays, are paid time and a half for hours worked. Holidays observed are New Year’s Day (Jan. 1), Easter, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (Dec. 25).

Service Awards – Team members receive a lapel pin after one year of service, a pen and certificate set for three years, and then at five years and every five years thereafter.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan – Contribute as much of your pay as you would like and the company will match 20% of before tax contributions up to 6% of your wages. Depending on company profits, the company may provide an additional match at year end.

Tuition Reimbursement – We will reimburse 80% of tuition and books up to $1,000 annually for part-time team members and $2,000 annually for full-time team members.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA) – Reduce your taxable income, dollar-for-dollar, in set-aside accounts for health, dental and vision spending. An additional Dependent Care FSA program is available, where you can do the same for dependent day care expenses.
