(Corpus Christi, TX) Tuesday, May 17, 2016 - Stripes® Convenience Stores announce the opening of its second Stripes Convenience Store in Port Arthur, Texas. Stripes Stores will host a grand opening fiesta ribbon cutting celebration on 11 a.m., Friday, May 20 at 3600 Jimmy Johnson Blvd. The ribbon cutting will include a $1,000 donation check presentation to Lamar State College Port Arthur with special appearance by the Lamar State College Port Arthur Seahawk Mascot. The new Stripes store has added over 30 new jobs to the Port Arthur community.
The entire community is invited to the grand opening celebration to sample delicious and fresh foods from Laredo Taco Company and Stripes Stores. The first 200 guests at the grand opening celebration will receive a FREE Stripes refillable mug with purchase. The new Stripes Store features Laredo Taco Company and features 20 Sunoco® Branded Fuel dispenser options which include unleaded, super unleaded and diesel. Both locations feature dining area which seats 30, “the beer super cooler” – a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 Degrees Fahrenheit, “the wall” – a creative space for customers to customize their cool with over 1.2 billion possible fountain combinations, as well as 7,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.
