(Corpus Christi, TX) Tuesday, June 16, 2015- Stripes® Convenience Stores announce the opening of its first Stripes Convenience Store in Liberty, Texas. Stripes Stores will host a grand opening fiesta and ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 30 at 2130 Hwy 146 Bypass. The grand opening celebration will be held in honor of Stripes customers and will showcase delicious foods from Laredo Taco Company® located inside the new Stripes Store. The event will recognize Liberty City Council, Liberty-Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce President, Mary Anne Campbell and Chamber members with a special appearance by the Stripes mascots. The ribbon cutting will also include a $1,000 donation check presentation to Endless Visions Riding Center, an assisted therapeutic riding center for those with special needs. The new Stripes Store has added over 30 new jobs to the Liberty community.
The entire community is invited to the grand opening celebration to sample delicious and fresh foods from Laredo Taco Company and Stripes Stores. The first 200 guests at the grand opening celebration will receive a FREE Stripes refillable mug with purchase. The new Stripes Store features Laredo Taco Company, offers Sunoco Fuel®, the Official Fuel of NASCAR® and features 18 Sunoco Branded Fuel dispenser options which include unleaded, super unleaded, diesel with a truck stop. This location features a dining area which seats 40, “the beer super cooler” – a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 Degrees Fahrenheit, “the wall” – a creative space for customers to customize their cool with over 1.2 billion possible fountain combinations, as well as 7,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.
