Aye, Aye, Aye! Limited Time Only “EL GRITO” Taco Returns to Laredo Taco Company® and Offers Its Customers a Chance to Win a $500 Stripes® Stores Card in Honor of National Taco Day
(Corpus Christi, Texas) October 5, 2015 – In honor of National Taco Day (October 4th), Laredo Taco Company® has launched the return of its limited time only spicy chicken fajita taco called “EL GRITO!”; and to celebrate, customers will have a chance to win a $500 Stripes® Stores card by entering its “El Grito” Contest.
Beginning today until October 16, participating customers will be able to upload their best "El Grito" video of themselves on the Stripes Facebook page for a chance to win a $500 Stripes gift card. The “El Grito” contest and rules are located under the “Grito” contest tab and in the Stripes Store website http://stripesstores.com/elgritocontest.cms.
Facebook fans will have the opportunity to choose their favorite contestant by voting for the best “Grito” on the Stripes Facebook page (Grito contest tab) on October 5 through October 16, 2015 (www.facebook.com/stripesstores). The video with the most votes will win a Stripes® $500 gift card and free Laredo Taco Company lunch tacos for a month. The winner will be announced on the Stripes Facebook page on October 17, 2015.
In addition, Stripes Stores and Laredo Taco Company have introduced their first-ever official video application (app) that can be found under “El Grito” in the Google Play and Apple App Store. Mobile-users can download the free “El Grito” app and may use their best “lip sync” video as part of the contest.
A grito is a traditional shout that originated from the Mexican cultural on Mexican Independence Day.
