(Dallas, TX) Monday, January 16, 2017 - Stripes® Convenience Stores announce the opening of its first Stripes Convenience Store in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Stripes Stores will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony with the Southwest Louisiana Chamber Economic Alliance beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 3201 Gerstner Memorial Dr. The ribbon cutting will include a special appearance by the LaGrange Gator Drumline and a $1,000 donation check presentation as part of the grand opening celebration. The new Stripes Store has added more than 50 new jobs to the community.
The entire community is invited to the grand opening celebration to sample delicious and fresh foods from Laredo Taco Company. Laredo Taco Company will offer FREE lunch tacos from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. during the grand opening celebration (limited to one per guest). The first 200 guests at the grand opening celebration will receive a FREE Stripes refillable mug with purchase while supplies last.
The new Stripes Store features Laredo Taco Company, Sunoco Fuel®, the official Fuel of NASCAR® and features 20 Sunoco Branded Fuel dispensers which include unleaded, super unleaded and diesel. This location features a dining area which seats 28 inside and an outdoor patio with seating for 20 guests, “the beer super cooler” – a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 Degrees Fahrenheit, “the wall” – a creative space for customers to customize their cool with more than 1.2 billion possible fountain combinations, as well as almost 7,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.
