(Dallas, TX) Monday, January 16, 2017 - Stripes® Convenience Stores announce the opening of two new stores in Lafayette, Louisiana. Stripes Stores will host one grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony with the One Acadiana Chamber of Commerce beginning at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 at 3300 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy. The ribbon cutting will include a special appearance by the Acadiana High School Wreckin Rams Band and Cheerleaders with a $1,000 donation check presentation and the No. 24 NAPA CHEVY SS NASCAR Showcar with Photo Opportunity from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. as part of the grand opening celebration. The new Stripes Stores have added more than 75 new jobs to the community.
The entire community is invited to the grand opening celebration to sample delicious and fresh foods from Laredo Taco Company. Laredo Taco Company will offer FREE lunch tacos from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. during the grand opening celebration (limited to one per guest). The first 200 guests at the grand opening celebration will receive a FREE Stripes refillable mug with purchase while supplies last.
Stripes Stores will continue the celebration from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, January, 21 at 911 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy for an additional photo opportunity with the No. 24 NAPA CHEVY SS NASCAR Showcar and FREE “Cars n’ Stripes®” carwashes.
Both Stripes Stores feature Laredo Taco Company, Sunoco Fuel®, the official Fuel of NASCAR® and 20 Sunoco Branded Fuel dispensers which include unleaded, super unleaded and diesel. Locations feature a dining area which seats 28 inside and an outdoor patio with seating for 20 guests, “the beer super cooler” – a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 Degrees Fahrenheit, “the wall” – a creative space for customers to customize their cool with more than 1.2 billion possible fountain combinations, as well as almost 7,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.
